ooooooo wait. some great news i forgot to include.
my brother is coming to cal next year.
when he found out, everyone in our family went crazy. we were all happy. i'm glad he's coming up. even though i'm only gonna be here for a year with him, it'll be a lot of fun. and i'm already looking forward to the raiders/chargers game. haha.
i think my dad was the happiest of all of us though. if you don't know my dad, he is the epitome of frugalness. haha. he is tight. it's a good quality, but sometimes it's just really funny. anyways, so before he got into cal, he had gotten acceptances from irvine and usc. my dad wanted brian to go to irvine, but my bro wanted to go to sc. the difference in tuition was huge. usc is like at 39k per year or something like that, while uci is like 15? anyways, my dad was really against him going to sc but my mom and i were putting some pressure on him to let my bro go to sc. so when he found out my bro got in, he was ecstatic. he was reallllly happy. i haven't seen him that happy ever. he wasn't even that happy when i got in. haha. before that he was bitter though, cuz my bro didn't get into some schools, but after..... he was a new man. which is where i came in. i made sure to milk his happiness by getting some extra pocket cash from him before i left, while he was in this state of deliriousness. and of course it worked to a charm. i hope my kids aren't as conniving as i am. but i do hope they're as clever. hahahah
