![]() remain seated pleasepermanece sentados, por favorMonday, June 30, 2003 starting work tomorrow. i'm kind of excited, a little nervous. gotta be in the office at 8:30 tomorrow morning. i really have no idea what to expect, because the job description was pretty vague. it sounded cool though. haha. but one thing i do know: God is truly awesome. i applied for probably 25-30 internships for the summer, starting in March or April. I left Berkeley thinking I had no shot at getting an internship. After about a week or two at home, I woke up one morning and found a message on my cell phone. It was a lady from Raytheon that had seen my resume and was interested in meeting with me. I went in and interviewed for a web developer position. The interview went decently, and a week later she called and left another message saying she needed to talk to me. I called her back and she told me that unfortunately I didn't get the position I interviewed for, but that there was another internship that had just opened up that they would want me to interview for. I went in the next day, had a great interview, and within two days they offered me the position. so to summarize this whole paragraph: 30 resumes sent out. 1 reply. 2 interviews. 1 internship. Just awesome. ![]() |
