![]() remain seated pleasepermanece sentados, por favorMonday, February 20, 2006 Guy's Night Out Butch, Billy, Roy and I had a night on the town together this past weekend. We met up early to catch the All-Star Festivities at the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney, and ended up watching the whole thing while we ate dinner. Being the dorks that we are, we decided to "bet" on who would win the Skills Challenge, the 3-pt contest, and the Slam Dunk contest. We decided that the loser would have to play this horse racing game, and that if they didn't try hard (get better than last place), they would have to play again. I'm not sure if we secretly wanted to play this game or something, because even though only two of us lost, all 4 of us ended up playing the game. ![]() Roy riding his horse. (He doesn't have a lumpy (_|_) in real life) This horse racing game was ridiculous. There were 4 horses all lined up together in one area, and each person mounted a horse. You had to rock the horse back and forth in order to make it move faster, and you could press a whip button to make the horse go faster as well. It must have been quite a sight to see four somewhat-grown men rocking on top of toy horses as fast as they could. Once we were done with the minute race, we were all sweating, sore, and ready to barf. It was awesome. We ended up playing some other random sports games, along with a cheap foosballish hockey game that was probably the best game they had. But the highlight of the night had to have been this baseball game we played. ![]() Roy pitching to Barry Bonds. There was a pitching booth where you could pitch to simulated baseball players and it would clock how fast you pitched. We watched some little kids play, and we started getting all cocky because they were throwing it at the player and were still getting called strikes. So we decided to give it a try, and faced Barry Bonds. Being the tight guys that we are, we also decided to just make one pitch each (it was limited to three pitches). I stepped in and threw a strike; Butch did the same. Roy, being the softball pitcher that he was in his heyday, decided he wouldn't hold back, and went into a windup. Suddenly, we heard a loud bang, and saw the girl leaning against the fence jump back. Roy had successfully missed the entire 1oft x 10ft wall, and had scared a small girl in the process. Roymond, if you're reading this, I love you. Hahahahahahaha. He then got booed out of the ESPN Zone. As we walked to the parking lot we sat around and watched the fireworks while debating how we would get out of the parking lot without having to pay. I wonder what it is with hanging out in parking lots? We were there for at least 30 minutes waiting for a Mickey Mouse firework to come, which actually never did. The rest of the night was filled with inappropriate smells, comments, stories, and jokes, all shared over some food at Guppy House. Why is Roy so angry all the time? Thanks to Billy for the food/games, Butch for the stories, and Roy for the laughs. And next time we'll have real pictures! ![]() |
